I recently rented a three bedroom condominium in the Boston, MA area. The owners require me to acquire condo insurance to cover the contents of the condo if anything should happen. They suggested I look into condo insurance for Deland, Gibson Insurance since most of the tenants use this company and have had no problems with them. This was all new to me and I immediately checked them out on the internet.
The company was originally founded in 1900 and has been in business ever since. To me, this was a good sign of a reputable company. After easily navigating through their website I found the section that pertains to condo insurance. It seems that many Condominium Associations require property and liability coverage. I continued to read about different events that could cause damage to my own personal property that would be a complete loss if not covered by insurance. It all seemed too complicated for me to decide on my own so I filled out the questionnaire and provided my contact information for a representative to call me. This way I will make sure I have coverage that will protect me the most in unforeseeable circumstances.
I received a call back that very afternoon and was immediately put at ease by the agent. They explained everything to me in layman’s terms since some of the legal lingoes were hard for me to understand. By the end of our conversation, she had me all setup with my insurance needs. I’m glad all of the paperwork and signing on the dotted line is done. Since that part is now over with I can concentrate on packing up my belongings and renting a moving truck. Moving day is tomorrow and I have a ton of things to do so that I’m ready for the next chapter in my life.
